Let's Talk Science University of Calgary- Volunteer Opportunity

University of Calgary's Let's Talk Science branch is currently looking for volunteers for our annual competitions: Let's Talk Science Challenge (LTSC) and the Science, Engineering and Technology Challenge (SETC). 

LTSC: Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the U of C Foothills Campus

LTSC is a full day event for grades 6-8 students, where they compete in a jeopardy style quiz show in the morning, then participate in a design challenge in the afternoon.

SETC: Saturday, June 2, 2018 at U of C main campus

SETC is a full day event of STEM challenges in an Amazing Race style for high school students.

Lunch and snack is available for all volunteers and upon completion of 20 hours, you will be eligible for CCR hours. However, there is flexibility if you can only make it at certain times of the day.

Please note that we require a police check from all volunteers (which may take up to a month to process). When you sign up on Volunteer Spot, we will send you the relevant files needed for it. The files will give you a 50% discount for the police check.
